In this, my first blog entry, I'll introduce myself. I'm Casie:) I'm married to a wonderful man, who has been the love of my life for most of my life, since we were teenagers. We have 5 beautiful (grown) children. The oldest of the bunch is our nephew (26), then our son (21), two daughters (17 & 15), and our youngest son (11). We have a grand-nephew (6). And most recently, we've been blessed with a darling grandson, almost 2 weeks old.
Later on in my blog, I'll probably name them, but for now, I'll leave it. I also won't overwhelm you with the details of our interests and activities, for example, sports, travel, crafting...You'll catch on to those as I post.
Another topic I'll be sharing in the future is my interest in quilting. I'll be posting pictures of projects I've done over the past 15, or so, years. It's something I've loved doing, and would love to do more of and improve my skills. My "quilting dream" is to make wedding ring quilts for each of my children when they are married. I guess I better get quilting:)
So those are the very basics about me & my family. I hope I have some interesting stuff to blog about in the near future. I wasn't sure how to start this, but now that I have, it's not so bad.
